Uncle Sinner is a figment of his own imagination. He holds several degrees in psychological vandalism and enjoys hollering, guitars, banjos, mandolins, and rage.
Amazing 'death-country' from Winnipeg. Chain gang blues/gospel/murder ballads.
Konrad Wert is one-man band Possessed By Paul James. It is fairly old-style bluesy folk with banjos and fiddles and such. Reminds me of Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir.
C.W. Stoneking is a fellow from Australia. He plays a neat revival of old-timey musics. This particular one is a New Orleans jazz type of theme. Another album he made is very Mississippi blues-y. Talented guy.

Oh hi I haven't posted anything in a while. Hopefully I can get a few in today if Mediafire will cooperate.
The Dead Brothers are a bunch of guys with accordion, tuba, trombones, a megaphone... It's a very Tom Waits-y blues/cabaret/folk/country/polka/jazz thing. It's a little too weird in some places but really cool and interesting for the most part.

The Agnostic Mountain Gospel Choir is a band from Calgary that plays a mix of traditional blues, old-timey folk, and gospel. They play it a lot louder and more electric than most similar bands though. Think an faster, full-band William Elliott Whitmore. Or a less bluegrassy Split Lip Rayfield. Anyway, it's good, and they're local (to Calgary).

The Pack A.D. is a female duo from Vancouver. Consisting of Becky Black and Maya Miller, it's garage-blues (I guess?) similar to The Black Keys or one of Jack White's various bands. Anyone who likes The Black Keys will probably like this, but The Pack A.D. has a distinctive enough sound to be worthy of recognition on their own. Very well done, solid blues rock.
