Annabel - Here We Are Tomorrow
Annabel is a band from Kent, Ohio. This is an EP of theirs. It's like a really cool kinda-shoegazey/emo-but-not-really type of.... thing.
They've got a really great sound, I recommend it.
I mean really if i put it on my blog you can assume i like it. I would never waste my precious gigglebytes on lame music.
EDIT: on Tiny Engines, also distributed by CYLS

Whirl - Distressor

Whirl is a shoegaze band from somewhere in Northern California. I don't really know anything about them, sorry. It is a really good album though, if you're in the mood for shoegazey stuff.
Album is available for purchase here.

Letting Up Despite Great Faults - Letting Up Despite Great Faults (2009)

Letting Up Despite Great Faults, from Los Angeles, is a band that probably falls under the category of 'indietronica'. Normally i hate portmanteau genre names but i think this one works. Electronic drum machines, synths, heartfelt lyrics and a melancholy sound. It's something different, and that's always good, right?
